  1. This is the school comparison view of the PMF.

Using this tool, you can compare PMF results for multiple schools, across multiple years of data.

  2. You can add schools by selecting them in this drop-down menu and then clicking add. You can add as many, or as few, schools as you would like.

  3. Once you have added a school, PMF results appear in a new column on the right.

Each school's overall PMF Tier is displayed under the school name.

Tier 1 represents the highest level of performance. Tier 3 represents the lowest level of performance.

If there is NO TIER, hover your mouse over the circle to read an explanation.

  4. Each of the scores in the PMF are color coded according to this legend.

  5. A school's TIER is based on four distinct academic indicators:

    • Student Progress
    • Student Achievement
    • Gateway Measures
    • Leading Indicators

By default you will see what percentage of points possible the school earned for each indicator.

By clicking the + or – button, you can see more or less information about school performance on that indicator.

  6. Each indicator is composed of multiple metrics.

The percentage you see is the percentage of points that the school earned out of total points possible. Each domain consists of multiple metrics. Underneath each school, you can see a school's metric score alongside bars showing the percentage of possible points that a school has earned on the metric.

  7. To remove a school from the comparison view, click the X in the right corner of the box.

To rearrange schools, drag and drop using the symbol.

  8. To view a single school's full PMF, click on 'Detailed View'. It will open a new tab or window in your internet browser.

  9. Use the up and down arrow to hide and show the school, year, framework, grade and subgroup filters.
